Development: Use of shots

Part of my brief is to get range of camera shots with various distances, angles and movements and therefore it was vital that within both settings I had to show this capability.

The use of wide shots were very important within the woodland montage as the beautiful yet desolate area really highlighted the serenity of the beginning sequences, contrasting with the later cynical shots. The use of the colour overlays create that dazed feeling that can only suggest that not all is as it seems. I also chose to shoot various sequences from shallow, low angles to provide an uncertain perspective, as though we are looking into this life when we are not supposed to. And finally, close ups and extreme close ups were a major importance for creating the eerie look of the video and emphasising the mystery and we wish to see the full picture.
