Development: Lip-synching
Due to the lack of lyrics in my video, there was not a need to film someone lip-synching for a long period of time. Therefore, this moment when there are lyrics needs to be powerful. Just before the star lip syncs, she looks into the camera, the first time she does so, in complete fear, as shown above. This image reflects the nauseating tone of the piece as she is captured by the beings. This is then followed by a close up of her mouth lip-syncing "Animals", reinforcing the animal concept.

Production: Shaky camera use
The use of a shaking camera gives of the impression that this was filmed via hand held camera which is the effect I was going for as there are so many hit horror movies that are of the found footage genre and this in itself pays homage to it. The use of this technique builds tension within the scenes and makes the viewer feel like they are apart of the action that is taking place.

Production: Cutting the track
I have decided to cut a large portion of my track which originally had a running time of 3:03 but it is now 2:10. I have done this because I felt that the intro to the song was too long and it would just become boring to watch the forest for too long. I really wanted the build up to the hook of the song to be very intense and mysterious, and then when the hook comes, we see the star being captured. The effect wouldn't be as frightening and mysterious if it was elongated like the songs structure.
To fill the remaining 50 seconds, there will be montages at the beginning and end of the video. Along with opening and closing credits. The beginning will set the tone of the video with striking images of the villains. And the end will be a wide pan shot of the door shutting as the protagonist is captured.

Ignore the last part of the video.
I made the website on my laptop and the fit isn't the same which is why it looks all of the place.
I have emailed the questionnaire.

Production: Original video
For my original video that goes onto the website, I have made a short video of Emily, one of the actresses, answering questions that fans have been messaging her on instagram regarding Kennedy and the video. This allows the target audience to find out things that they may not have known before about Kennedy, bringing them closer and allowing for an insight into what Kennedy is actually like.

Production: Warm Shots
Due to the fact that the sun on my shoot day fluctuated between the clouds, it became very obvious that some shots were a lot warmer than the others. I found that this spoilt the look of the video and made some shots look out of place.
My original plan was to reshoot the footage with active sunlight in all the shots. This was until I played around with the video editor function on iMovie and came across a saturation bar which could intensify the colours and warm them up. The shots instantly became more yellow with the effect of sunlight, and the green of the forest was a lot less dull and looked much more alive.

Production: Original draft review
Having reviewed my original draft for my music video and receiving audience feedback, I have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to film more footage due to the fact that what I currently have doesn't have the best quality. Also, the black and white filter across the first half of the video does not work as it doesn't make the video more scary, and the green colour is more atmospheric.
